SCSI - LVD

External Cables

External Cables

  • Low Voltage Differential (LVD) SCSI is an emerging standard. The goal of LVD is to allow higher data rates while combining the benefits of single ended and differential SCSI. LVD devices are defined under the Ultra-2 subset of the SCSI-3 standard, the term LVD and Ultra-2 SCSI are used interchangeably. LVD Cables and Terminators are Backward Compatible and will work on SCSI-1 and SCSI-2 bus segments.
